July Painting Challenge! Composition

Hello Paint Tribe!

Here we are with another painting challenge.  Since the Art Chat is focusing on key foundation pieces, the July painting challenge focuses on another aspect of design.  Composition, like pattern, is part of the bones of the painting. 

I have chosen two compositions from Edgar Payne’s Composition of Outdoor Painting. You can do both composition types or just one. I have included the two photos of the Steelyard and Tunnel compositions. I’ve also included the two master images I talk about in the attached video.
