Understanding Grays

In this live demonstration, Linda talks about the importance of grays in your painting. She starts by sharing and discussing a Sorella painting and how this master used grays to pull in the viewer and how important it is to control value and chroma in a painting. She mixes colors from what Edgar Payne called “mud” and also from using a gray made from a black and white pigment. She then talks about color relationships and how these gray colors shift when placed near another color.  (And #SnickerLittleGirl visits–you gotta love live TV.  LOL)
