A few weeks ago, I was interview by Travis Albritton, who hosts a podcast called “Podcasting in Real Life.” It was a fun interview where I learned that I’ve been podcasting now for about seven years.
It all started when I was co-founder of Artist Mentors Online. Podcasting was just starting and this thing call Blog Talk Radio was sweeping the internet. Then I started to get feedback that ads were invading the podcast. Unlike other podcast, I don’t have ads and after some digging found out that BTR was doing this because of the level of the account we were using. Needless to say, I didn’t have the money to go the couple hundred dollar level. So I left and found a new way to offer the shows.
I have probably been with Buzzsprout since that time. It has been a blast chatting with fellow creatives. Coming on this week I’m interview Kit Frick, a YA author who just signed with Simon and Schuster. Next week, I’m interview Mandy Theis of the DaVinci Institute. In April, I’ll be interviewing another author, Kellye Garrett.
I hope you enjoy one of the few times I get to be on the other side of the microphone.
Cheers,
Linda
