On Thursday, I had a wonderful chat with Quang Ho. Quang’s prespective on painting always gets me thinking in so many ways! Quang began to paint larger–I mean really large as in 5 ft by 7ft canvases. We talk about that process, what lead him to paint so large. He shared his wonderful insight and his process.
We also talked about negative space. It’s a term you hear a lot about, but sometimes when pressed it is a term not well defined. Quang provides his interpretation of the term and quite possibly it is different than how you think about it.
